Eat Yourself Sexy's Blake Worrall Thompson's Breakfast

I love nothing more than starting the day with a big breakfast full of eggs.

Unfortunately someone forgot to pass on the ‘Worrall-Thompson cooking gene’ that both my brother and dad have to me, so if I’m going to be in the kitchen, it needs to be easy. If some chef extraordinaire tries to teach me anything tricky with me, I’m out.

Luckily my brother Sam has taught me a simple and effective way to cook my favourite breakfast, scrambled eggs.

Once upon a time we were told that eggs were terrible and that if we ate them we would have a cholesterol problem. I’ve been eating 10 eggs a week for the past 3 years, and I aint got no cholesterol problem. Our problem isn’t eating eggs, our problem is eating sugar and most cereals on the shelves are loaded with sugar which has created the obesity epidemic we now face.

So here is a cracking recipe to help you feel fuller for longer and lose fat at the same time!

Method

From there the directions are simple (thank god)
Beat the eggs, milk, cottage cheese and herbs together, add butter to the pan and pour in the mixture, turn the heat down once mixture is added and mix in the middle of the pan for amount 2 minutes. How easy is that?!?!
From there serve it with a side of salmon and some avocado. I’ll generally have a handful of nuts as well as my job burns a huge amount of calories!
Voila- all done!

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbs of almond milk (raw milk if you can get it)
  • 1 tbs of cottage cheese
  • 2 tbs each of dill and chives
  • A pinch of sea salt
  • 150 g of smoked salmon
  • 3 spears of asparagus
  • Knob of organic butter
