Berry and Banana Sundae

A wonderfully refreshing alternative to an old fashioned favourite; rich in antioxidants, potassium, calcium and very filling!
Children particularly love this healthy treat.
Method
Place a layer of banana in the bottom of the bowl and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Cover with some yoghurt then half the berries and another layer of yoghurt.
Place the rest of the banana round the edge of the bowl.
Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon, and place the remaining berries in the middle.
Sprinkle with the crushed nuts or seeds and drizzle with honey.
Ingredients
- 1 medium banana, sliced
- 1/3 cup mixed berries
- ½ cup thick, natural yoghurt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. bush or Manuka honey (optional)
- 1 tsp. raw crushed nuts or seeds – pistachio nuts are particularly good (optional)
