Toasted Pecan Muesli

Approved by the National Heart Foundation, this healthy breakfast recipe will help boost energy levels to give you a morning boost.

Method

1. Preheat oven to 180ÂșC.

2. Combine oats, sunflower seeds, pecans and pumpkin seeds in a baking dish.

3. Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes until toasted. Remove from oven and let cool.

4. Stir in sultanas and apricots into the mixture. Transfer to an airtight container.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups (550g) rolled oats
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 180g pecans, chopped
  • 125g pumpkin seeds
  • 250g sultanas
  • 200g diced dried apricots
