Chick Pea, Pea and Herb Felafel
My first attempt at felafels and boy it was not as hard as i though and super yummy!
Method
Put all ingredients into a food processor and blend until it all looks combined. I left some chunky bits of chickpea for a bit of extra yum.
Wet your hands and make balls, the total amount you get will depend on the size you make each one. I made mine about 5cm each and it made about 20.
Then shallow fry in the oil until brown and crispy on the outside.
You can dip in sesame seeds before frying for another dimension too.
Allow to cool and ENJOY.
Ingredients
- 2 x cans organic chick peas, drained and rinsed
- 1 x cup peas, blanched
- 1/4 cup chopped mint
- 1/4 cup chopped chives
- 1/4 cup chopped coriander
- 2 x cloves of garlic
- 1/4 cup wholewheat flour
- 2 x Tablespoons lemon juice
- Grapeseed Oil for Frying
