Brown Rice Yellow Pea Chia Seed and Egg wonder

Sometimes you discover a combo that is all win win win.
The yellow pea in this dish combines so well with the runny egg I'm wondering why I have never eaten this before.

Method
Soak the rice and peas overnight to reduce cooking time in the morning, rinse the water and then add in double again and place on stove on high for 5 mins.
Remove to medium for another 5 with the lid on then turn right down for another 5 and then off for another 5.
At the end crack an egg into it and stir gently so you break yolk only a little and serve with a runny yolk.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup brown rice
- 1/4 cup yellow split peas
- handful chia seeds
- one good organic free range egg
