Espinaca con queso

Spinach and cheese

Method

Slice your onion finely and then fry for 5 mins on medium. Remove the stalks from the leaves and chop them up and place them into the onion mixture, cook for 10 mins on low.
Once this is soft, break up the spinach leaves and place in the pan with a bit of water, stir while steaming till just wilted and serve with the cheese crumbled on the top.

  • One bunch english spinach
  • one spanish onion
  • 100gms panela (or fetta)
  • water
