Pepper Chicken

Pepper Chicken

This could be a 'razz-a-mattaz' moment in home cooking... or is that an 'ah-hah' moment... or 'I was made for lovin you baby' whatever you want to call it this is a bloody good experiment.

NB: There is no black pepper in this dish

Method

Chop up onions and garlic and capsicums into strips.
Slice the chicken into strips and marinate in the pepper, paprika and turmeric with some oil.

Heat some oil in a pan and throw in the onions for a minute or two the the garlic and the capsicums. After a few more minutes add in the marinated chicken and stir around for a while until the juices start coming out of the chicken. Add in half a cup of water at this point.

Stay on low for about half an hour.

Heat some oil in another pan and add the cumin and mustard seeds and watch carefully until they start to pop. Add in the chopped fancy mushrooms and keep stirring until the mushrooms get soft and brown.

When the chicken is done serve on some millet and place the mushrooms on the top.... oh yummy yumster this is the shit yo!
