poached egg

ideally you need your own chickens to get such fresh eggs which mean no need for vinegar in the water

Method

Bring water to boil in a frying pan
put on a cd
when a song starts turn the water down to a high simmer and gently put your cracked egg in
butter your toast
when the song is finished the egg is done
take it out with a slotted spoon or scoop it with a potato masher
place on toast
be happy

Ingredients

  • 1 slice of Organic Sourdough toasted
  • Over the moon jersey cow butter
  • 1 egg so freshly laid it's still crying for it's mother
  • salt pepper
  • cup of english breakfast tea
