BBirthday baked potatoes with horseradish and sage dipping sauce

Words cannot describe the awesomeness of these little guys. It is definitely worth the effort especially if it is your friends birthday.

Method

Peel the potatoes an with a small knife score them as deep as you can and as close together as you can. Place all potatoes on a baking tray and cover each with a bit of butter and chopped sage and some salt.

Bake in an oven at 200ยบ C for about half an hour or until nice and crispy.

For the sauce mix all ingredients together. Serve warm and dip the potatoes into the sauce. An autumn's night dream come true.

Ingredients

  • 2kg kipfler potatoes
  • handful sage leaves
  • big pinch salt
  • good butter
  • for sauce
  • one garlic clove crushed
  • 100gms horseradish crushed
  • 100gms sourcream
  • tiny squeeze lemon
