My Thai Beef Salad

Perfect lunch or dinner in this hot hot hot weather
Serves 2

Method

Marinate beef in soy sauce, chilli and garlic for 30 minutes
In a large bowl add bean sprouts, salad leaves, herbs, tomatoes and onion.
Make dressing by combining fish sauce, sugar and lime juice and mix well.
Cook steak to your liking and slice.
Place steak on top of salad, dress and EAT.

Ingredients

  • 1 x New York Steak (400g)
  • Bean Sprouts - about 1 cup rinsed
  • Mixed salad leaves, anything you have is great
  • 1/2 a handful each of coriander, mint and parsley roughly chopped
  • 12 cherry tomatoes sliced in half
  • 1 eschallot finely sliced
  • 2 T Soy Sauce
  • 1 t chilli flakes
  • 1/2 garlic clove crushed
  • 1 T Fish Sauce
  • 1 t sugar
  • Juice of 1 lime
