deep fried quinoa & polenta balls
did exactly as recipe but as i have never cooked either the polenta or the quinoa before i think they turned out fabulous .. i didnt find them to finnicky as i think i had my polenta very thick so it was very easy to manage not that ive had it any other way i wasnt really sure what the consistancy was supposed to be so it worked for me and they were super delicous my kids ate them no complaints and mine didnt even make it to the plate highly recommended !!!!
Method
cook the quinoa first and let sit to cool
cook the polenta and mix it with the frozen peas straight away then mix through with the cooled quinoa and raw garlic
make the mixture into bite size balls then dust with flour, dip in egg and cover with bread crumbs
deep fry for about a minute each in the hot oil

- 100gm minute polenta
- 200gm quinoa
- garlic
- flour
- eggs
- bread crumbs
- peanut oil for frying
