Just when we were expecting the fruits of summer to start trickling along, this heavy rain has managed to slow the supply down significantly due to damage. Berries and cherries have been the worst hit of the fruit and the likes of coriander and spinach also suffering in the veggie department. On a good note, bananas and stone fruit are still plentiful and good value. Checkout the full breakup below;

The Good News:
Beans - Green and Handpicked (prices eased and good supply)
Beetroot (large better)
Broccoli (prices cheap)
Cabbage (all good)
Chilli (Red and Birdseye easing)
Red, Green and Yellow Capsicum (all cheap)
Cauliflower (good and cheap)
Celeriac (good)
Celery (good and cheap)
Corn (plenty and cheap)
Eggplant (QLD now and prices cheap)
Fennel
Oranges (CHEAP!)
Blood Oranges (plenty about)
Strawberries (great quality and cheap)
Grapefruit
Kiwi fruit (good quality and cheap)
Leek (good quality and plenty about)
Lettuce (prices down)
Mandarins (good quality and cheap)
Mango (plenty about)
Mushrooms (Button are good and Flat getting better),
Parsnip (plenty about)
Peas, Snowpeas and Sugarsnap (Australian best & cheap)
Tomato (prices easing)

The Not so Good News:
Asparagus – slowing down
Avocado – prices expected to rise soon
Chilli (Green scarce)
Cucumber (Telegraph and Lebanese price rising)
Ginger (still high price)
Kumera (limited supply)
Lemons (prices heading up)
Limes (high prices)
Mandarin (quality on the way out)
Melons (prices not great)
Onions (Brown up in price)
Butternut Pumpkin (very pricey)
