Get Restaurant Quality!
The best food is fresh. The best food is straight from the farmer, the paddock, the ocean and its taste is on a whole other level of delicious. So the best and freshest food must be sort after. But it is not as hard as you think.
Originating as a business supplying only to industry establishments, the Providore business has opened its expertise up to the household consumer by starting harvest to home. With its extensive farmer and supplier relationships and known and trusted purchasing power, harvest to home is now in the business of providing YOU with the freshest of produce. We’re talking crisp lettuces, yellow yolks, non-steroid chickens and marbled meats from the finest Australian farms.
With a full spectrum of fresh produce covering land to sea, harvest to home delivers not only quality and choice but a price that will surprise. Being the same price if not cheaper then the local supermarket or high street butcher/fishmonger, harvest to home really has covered all bases in supplying fresh quality ingredients to people they know expect the best. You are buying the very same product served to many hated restaurants across Sydney. Top tier restaurant quality fruits, vegetables, meats, and seafood. All the work is done for you and all you do is choose exactly what you want and it’s sent to your door with FREE delivery.
I was lucky enough to receive some seafood and meat from the suppliers. Vacuum pack to seal in the freshness, I received salmon, barrumundi and sirloin steak. I enjoyed these gifts with friends by creating a smorgasbord of meals (photo above). I made salmon Rillette; steamed the barramundi in a paper bag with thyme and lemon (enpopiote) drizzling with a lemon Beurre Blanc and grilled the sirloin steak serving it with a Dijon sauce accompanied with a roast potato and rocket salad. My guests loved it. The quality was restaurant, the difference being we were eating in the comfort of my backyard on a hot balmy night.
By supporting local famers, eating with the seasons and developing an awareness of food quality (that just has to be good for the soul) this new way of grocery shopping could be a great way to get healthy. And at harvest to home they take that very seriously. With an ongoing partnership with the George Institute
Overall, this company has alot to offer your health, your tummy and your time. By eating good quality produce that is filling and nutritious and needing only to make an order which is delivered to the convenience of your front door (with ice packs if you’re not home) harvest to home could really make a difference to your life and your appreciation of food. Australian farms have a lot to offer us, why not start by supporting them?
