Australian Grown Chocolate is here!

Australia's first origin grown chocolate made from cocoa grown in Queensland's Mossman region, is ready to eat.

A 10 year plan is finally coming to fruition for a collective of former chocolate industry experts, government agricultural researchers and pioneering Far North Queensland farmers. The new Chocolate will be launched on November 4th.

For years they watched major chocolate manufacturers in Australia buying cocoa from developing countries, all the while wondering why no one was game to have a crack at growing it themselves.

They eventually convinced government researchers to look into it, and before too long the seed of Daintree Estates had been planted.

Daintree Estates growers make the most of the abundant natural rainfall in their region. But many also use natural springs or bores to irrigate, which ensures their plots get exactly the right amount of nutrients and water.

Daintree Estates Australian Cocoa comes in both milk and dark chocolate varieties but with new product ideas brimming, it will not stop there.
