harvest to home market update 06 October, 2011

On the veggie front broccoli, cauliflower, corn, beans, red capsicums, cucumbers and tomatoes are all really good value. Truss tomatoes should start easing in price. On the fruit front mangoes are fast approaching their peak season so look for bargains in the coming weeks. Checkout the full breakup below:

Avocado (well priced)
Beans - Green and Handpicked (prices eased and good supply)
Beetroot (large better)
Broccoli (prices cheap)
Cabbage (all good)
Chilli (Red and Birdseye easing)
Red, Green and Yellow Capsicum (all cheap)
Cauliflower (good and cheap)
Celeriac (good)
Celery (good and cheap)
Corn (plenty and cheap)
Eggplant (QLD now and prices cheap)
Fennel
Oranges (CHEAP!)
Blood Oranges (plenty about)
Strawberries (great quality and cheap)
Grapefruit
Kiwi fruit (good quality and cheap)
Leek (good quality and plenty about)
Lettuce (prices down)

Butternut Pumpkin (very pricey)
