harvest to home market update 2nd August, 2011

Last week, we started to see light at the end of the banana-tunnel and this week it’s more of the same across the whole fruit department. As July comes to a close, the fortunate weather is presenting beautiful quality and better supply which in turn translates into better prices. The highlights for the week are undoubtedly strawberries, tomatoes, mandarins, oranges, apples, pears and passionfruit.
